Lock mic boost in alsamixer
Hey!
The mic boost channel in alsamixer keeps auto adjusting, making my mic sound like garbage. Is there a way to lock it? I've tried muting it but I can't (nothing happens when I press M). I couldn't find anything in pavucontrol either.

Which input application? Skype? disable that in its settings.
