but you're coming off of a suspend so that's expected, other than that I don't see any inherent issues with the connection.

I can't connect to any address via openvpn from other .ovpn providers like vpngate and vpnbook.
Flatpak would error and when i try to install official flatpak apps it hangs on "Looking for matches..."

Do. Not. Paraphrase.
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=57855
Either there're intermittent connection losses or a problem w/ your DNS or ISP (WAN connection)
cat /etc/resolv.conf
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Dhcpcd … esolv.conf - you can also try 1.1.1.1 or 9.9.9.9
As for actual connection losses on your host, check the system journal for carrier losses.

I changed mines to use both 9.9.9.9 or 1.1.1.1 .

"And…?"
This is really not going anywhere if you don't understand that everybody else isn't privy to your local situation.
Do you still have issues resolving (some) domains - at some points?
What are those domains and what DNS is actually used to resolve them (hint: try dig…) and can you ping the DNS server at this time.
Offline
Ok I guess this thread ends here since Im still where I was at the start and still having tons of network issues.

If you cannot bring yourself to providing any relevant details on the situation that will explain at which level you're having "network issues" we'll not get to "why" either, no.
If nobody has pointed you at it so far https://deepl.com/ is fluent in many languages and english.
You "network" can fail:
* intermittent firewall config changes (VPN, sometimes docker, …)
* to resolve domains (bad DNS server/config)
* to maintain a lease (eg. for colliding services etc.)
* to maintain a carrier (eg. for colliding services, driver/firware errors, wonky cable/plugs)
* behind the gateway ("ping _gateway" works, but "ping 8.8.8.8" doesn't) - that'd be your ISPs fault or an issue w/ the gateway (the modem/router combo you likely got from your ISP)
If you can isolate the relevant level, we can address the cause.
If you cannot isolate the relevant level, you'd have to start answering questions that allow its determination.
If you cannot isolate the relevant level and refuse to cooperate with its determination, there's nothing that can be done here.

I can't access any websites.

Yeah, not going anywhere. Ever.
Good luck.
