[KDEmod 4.2]Keyboard not working at KDM

Hi, I had some problems logging in on kdm.  I cannot type my username and password because the keyboard is not working. I'm also using hal from [testing] because I'm using networkmanager 0.7.  Is this the cause?:(

do you use hotpluging?

Does the keyboard work in kde?
