Openbox+compiz

Hello all)
I installed compiz-fusion and started in Openbox..and after i started openbox crashed..
if i started copmiz in kdemod all ok...
What log give for hel me?)))

openbox and compiz are both window managers, so you can have one or the other - not both.

kde(mod) is a desktop environment, so in that case compiz replaces kwin, the default kde window manager.

Both compiz and openbox are window managers. If you want compiz without some other desktop environment then this might be helpful.

Or if you want openbox with effects, try xcompmgr

you can try out standalone compiz
