Hi, a few minutes ago I updated my system and one of those updates was the libxdg-basedir from version 0.3.0-1 to 1.0.0-2 cause the problem starting Awesome WM.
Awesome cannot found libxdg-basedir.so.0 so to fix this (may be is not the better way) is downgrade the library. at least it works for me.
Does anybody has another better solution?... or Does anybody has the same problem?..

Update you system, actually update libxdg-basedir to 1.0.0-2 version and after that install Awesome 3.3pre20090421-1 (pacman -S awesome)
