X keyboard problem

Hello everybody,

I've just installed Arch 2009.02 in my Acer Aspire One, and I upgraded full system. Everything seems to be working well, except for the X system. I did Xorg -configure to get a new xorg.conf, and when I did startx, there was no keyboard for me. Mouse and screen are working properly. After that, I made some of the adjustments as suggested in Wiki for Aspire One (http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Acer_Aspire_One) to the xorg.conf file, and got the same: no keyboard. A few months ago, I was using Arch in another identical netbook, I did the same steps and everything worked fine. Dou you know how can I get this working? Is it a problem of new X.org software? Thank you for your help.

Strosek,

...sorry for any English mistakes...:/

Re: X keyboard problem

strosek,

the lack of keyboard could be due to the new xorg.

Please read:

http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xor … otplugging

With hotplugging don't forget to install "xf86-input-evdev"
