can thunar start maximized? [SOLVED]

Can I make thunar start maximized in xfce?
The first thing I have to do every time I open it is maximize it.

Fustrated Windows users have two options.
1. Resort to the throwing of computers out of windows.

Re: can thunar start maximized? [SOLVED]

Something that just worked when I tried it was manually resizing the window so that it is approximately maximized.  After I closed the window, I launched a new one and the size had been remembered.  Sorry if this isn't an acceptable workaround.

Re: can thunar start maximized? [SOLVED]

This is kind of cheating, but hey,  that's what config files are for!

In your ~/.config/Thunar/thunarrc file there are 2 values:  LastWindowHeight, and LastWindowWidth.

If you set these to what you want it to be (as in maximized screen size or thereabouts) from a text editor while thunar is NOT running, it should do the trick for ya.

I dragged it so it covered the entire screen, quit, and when I opened it, it was maximized. Thanks Arisna.
Knute: after I tried the other method, I looked at that file, and resizing the window manually seemed to have changes those values automatically.
