Hi guys,
xcompmgr-cC fails to not draw shadows on tint2 , can someone confirm this please ?
Here are 3 shots :
no xcompmgr ( desired look even with xcompmgr )
with standard settings ( xcompmgr -cC )
with my usual settings ( xcompmgr -t 1.5 -l 1.5 -c -C -f -r 6 -o 0.6 -I 0.03 -O 0.03 )
I tried xcompmgr 1.1.4-2, xcompmgr-dana from aur , tint2 and tint2-svn from aur
Will report upstream, but i was wondering why there are no other posts about it, no irc feedback considering more & more widespread use of tint.
Regards

I have this desire as well. I want xcompmgr to add shadows to everything other than my tint2. Is there anyway I can add exceptions?

Meh , i forgot to go upstream .. anyone want to try to submit bug / feature request at tint devs ?
Hope it is not a xcompmgr bug , but i doubt it . Conky has no shadows right now for me , must be tint only.
Will of course post here if something awesome happens ^_^

I posted a bug report at tint2 :
http://code.google.com/p/tint2/issues/detail?id=211
Andreas posted the fix there :
Add
panel_layer = top
to your tint2 config file
Solved!
