KDE 4 and MySQL

Hi,

Something weird sometimes happening to my desktop: abnormal HD activity, the desktop all but seizes up, but relaxes to normal eventually. I started to think about malware, but today got someting curious in an open console (after a 'seizure'), the message popped up all by itself:

$
Display all 3426 possibilities? (y or n)
$

Quick search showed that the message most probably belongs to MySQL. What kind of relationship is there between KDE 4 and MySQL? Can it go wrong? If it can (I'm not sure that I have a real problem here), where to look?

Re: KDE 4 and MySQL

That's just the bash auto-completion prompt. i.e. if you haven't typed anything at your terminal and hit "tab-tab", it will prompt you (and will consider every possible command in the PATH, since you haven't entered any text yet):

[nogoma@alfheim:~]% bash
nogoma@alfheim:~$
Display all 3996 possibilities? (y or n)
nogoma@alfheim:~$ c
Display all 217 possibilities? (y or n)
