proper sound control in GNOME?

My master volume doesn't control my notebook speakers. Only PCM and headphone do. How do I get master control to control those two?

Edit: Sorry, might've been unclear. I want the sound controls on my keyboard to not control the master volume, but the PCM and headphone. Either that or make master volume also change PCM and headphone, so that my keyboard controls do.

Re: proper sound control in GNOME?

right click on volume control, choose preferences and select the channel that you want to be tracked.

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
