Unmirroring screens error: required virtual size does not fit...

Hi guys, thanks for reading this.

Here's all of the relevant specs:
-videocard: Radeon HD3650
-monitors: acer X193W+
-desktop environment: GNOME

I thought it should've been as easy as going to System > Preferences > Display and removing the tick from "Mirror Screens", but when I click Apply it gives me this error:

required virtual size does not fit available size: requested=(3360, 1050), minimum=(320, 200), maximum=(1680, 1680)

Here is my xorg.conf file:

I googled the above mentioned error and it turns up a couple other people have had the same problem.  The only solution they seem to find is adding "Virtual 3360 1050" to the xorg.conf file.  But that only worked for half of them.

I also searched on these forums and some kid with an intel card was facing the same issue.  He never resolved it, at least not here.

So I'm wondering if anyone has any input or knows where I should go next with this, because I'm out of ideas and looking into a mirror is starting to give me a headache! lol
