Hello,
There is this ZX Spectrum remake
http://www.specng.org/site-info-2/
of the wonderful game Three Weeks in Paradise. Unfortunately, I have problems starting it with Wine. I get
`--> wine ThreeWeeksFinal.exe
fixme:event:wait_for_withdrawn_state window 0x10030/4800005 wait timed out
err:d3d:WineD3D_CreateFakeGLContext Can't find a suitable iPixelFormat
err:d3d:InitAdapters Failed to get a gl context for default adapter
err:d3d:WineDirect3DCreate Direct3D9 is not available without opengl
err:ole:CoUninitialize Mismatched CoUninitialize
I've seen in the AUR repository some wine packages especially modified for some games, but when I try to install it says it's not for x86_64 architecture.
If someone could help bring back my childhood, I'd be very thankful
Regards,
Przemek

Sorry that I can't help but I had to say that I expected this to be a post about going to the tropics or something.

Or about using Arch!
Yeah, you'd better change the topic title.

Heh. I only checked the thread because I wondered if it was about the game. Can't help though, I'm afraid.
Except...
You could install FUSE and play the original. (Martijn tries to get the copyright holder's permission for everything on WOS, and Amstrad allows free-as-in-beer distribution of the Spectrum ROM for emulation, so everything's legal and above board. )

I guess this is what I'll have to do. Thanks dunc!
