Re: Can I see your conkyrc file?

Instead of asking others to post theirs, how about posting yours? Crystal bowls are in backorder currently.

I hope you ran it in a terminal to see what conky complains about? That's some mandatory troubleshooting wink.

Edit: also, there's nothing 'Arch Discussion' about this... This is probably a rather trivial problem. Moving.

Re: Can I see your conkyrc file?

There is a thread for this already: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=39906&p=1

Please use the search function in the future.

If he has a real problem with his conky file (and not just some option he doesn't know how to use, then it's better to open a separate topic I think smile. Keeps from filling the screenshot/configuration thread.

Re: Can I see your conkyrc file?

Seems to me he just needs a working config to tweak/see what's wrong in his..
Since the first post isn't descriptive or informative enough it's the best guess...Anyway, if my assumption is correct the conky thread will fit the bill nicely smile

Re: Can I see your conkyrc file?

@op - conkyrc files are kinda specific to your hardware.  I can post mine, but unless you have the same stuff that I do, parts of it won't display correctly.  As others have suggested, post your file w/ a screenshot.

Re: Can I see your conkyrc file?

In either way, looking at the conky manpage and the example config would get you results much quicker than waiting for a response on the forum... not trying to sound like an ass, just point out the obvious smile
I too, am sometimes guilty of being too lazy to read a manpage and hoping onto #archlinux in hope of a quick answer...
