Hi, i installed arch on a new PC, along with KDE.
I installed this packages:
compiz
compiz-fusion
When i run compiz i get:
compiz (core) - Error: Screen 0 on display ":0.0" already has a window manager; try using the --replace option to replace the current window manager.
compiz (core) - Fatal: No manageable screens found on display :0.0
So i run compiz --replace and i get:
compiz (core) - Fatal: GLX_EXT_texture_from_pixmap is missing
compiz (core) - Error: Failed to manage screen: 0
compiz (core) - Fatal: NO manageable screens found on display :0.0
Is there anything i can do?
VGA:
01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RC410 [Radeon Xpress 200]
Running with "radeon" driver.

Did you try the two solutions for this error listed in the arch-wiki (compiz_troubleshooting)?

anyway you can still use the "appearance" in systemsettings in kde4 (which are the same as you get in the compiz package)
pls mark the thread as [SOLVED]

You are the one who marks the thread solved, not the mods. Edit your original post and append it to the title.
