Just updated to virtualbox_bin-3.0.1 via archliux.fr using pacman. Fired up my usual VM and the window border appears, but the output is invisible if I have Desktop Effects enabled or black if I shut the effects off. This has happened before but a reboot usually fixes it, but no such luck this time. I've rebooted it a number of times and rebuilt the vbox module as well.
I'm running KDE 4 from the testing branch if that matters.
Any ideas on a fix, or am I likely waiting for a bug fix from Sun/Oracle?
Thanks!

Thanks for the link! That helped point me to another article which provided a workaround but I'd like it to be bit more permanent.
The suggestion is to open a terminal and input
env XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 VirtualBox
I now have a working VirtualBox, but I have to keep the terminal open. A little bit of a hassle, but it works.
Is there a way to pass this command to the icon in the application laucher in KDE4?
Thanks again!

You can also put a shortcut on your desktop containing the command : env XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 /opt/virtualbox/VBoxManage startvm "your virtual machine"
Kind regards,
Jules
