Strange GTK issue

When I open a new GTK window, be it Firefox or Thunar or Sonata or what have you, something is up with dragging and dropping. In Firefox, I can drag the tabs but not drop them to the desired location in the tab bar, it just stays where it is; in Thunar, I can't drag anything to the side pane to make a shortcut, nor drag an archive for example onto a folder to do an "Extract here" etc.; and in Sonata I can't drag any items in the playlist to change the order. It only begins to work as normal when I minimize the window and restore it again. Then all is well...

Anyone else experienced this? (I use plain fluxbox session.)

EDIT: When I say "can't drag" I actually can click, hold and drag the icon/item, however letting go does not perform the desired action, is what I meant... sorry
