[Solved] sqares in gdm login window

Hi. I copied a bunch of ttf fonts into /usr/share/fonts and ran: sudo fc-cache -vf
After that I tried to switch user and saw that all letters in the login window are squares!
I've deleted all new fonts and run sudo fc-cache -vf, but squares remain.
How to rollback what I've done and what could be the reason?

Sorry. I shouldn't had used command: sudo cp -arT myfonts/ /usr/share/fonts/
it changed owner/premissions of the dir to me/700
