Hi!
By default if you click on the printer configuration icon in kde system settings, it ends with an error. The solution is the following:
open a terminal, as root create a symlink ln -s /usr/share/apps/pykde4/kde.py /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/PyQt4/uic/widget/plugins/ ,
and hopefully, the printer configuration will work.
