I have the following auto.master file:
/media/disc -fstype=auto,user,suid :/dev/sr0
/media/ipod -fstype=vfat,user,suid :/dev/disk/by-uuid/3141-5926
/media/ds-sd -fstype=vfat,user,suid :/dev/disk/by-uuid/E1E3-62A2
What is the problem with it? I get all kinds of error from /var/log/daemon.log | tail:

I finally figured out the problem: I needed an empty line at the end of the file.

Interesting, the default doesn't contain it, but it's never bad to put a LF to the end of file
