Hi Guys,
Just recently set up a new Arch box for a friend and I have installed Gnome. It's been a long time since I installed Gnome (been doing a lot of KDE 4 installs) and I have forgotten how to tweak some aspects of Gnome.
1. How do I get numlock to be on when Arch is booted in to Gnome?
2. Where do I get the opngl screen savers from (my friend likes the matrix screen saver)
3. When you put a password on a screen saver, the background is the default green leaf one, where do I change this?
Cheers in advance

1. Can't remember that one very well. It may be an option somewhere? Maybe try rooting around with gconf? I know you can use numlockx for the window managers (calling it in .xinitrc).
2. Gnome-screensaver. Seeing as you use a lock dialog, then you're 99% likely to already have it. There should be some kind of screensaver entry in the settings menus.
3. It uses gnome's default image - which is /usr/share/pixmaps/backgrounds/gnome/background-default.jpg. Change that to whatever you want.

2. Make sure you have xscreensaver installed. Gnome-screensaver wraps the xscreensavers, and the package is not an explicit dependency.
