Hi, I have recently installed Arch Linux on my iMac, after hours of work I am now proud of it.
I have my .config/openbox/autostart.sh to setup the screen resolution using xrandr, then feh to change the wallpaper and finally pypanel. Also correct me if this might be wrong in some way.
So I'm now a happy Arch user, everything works flawlessly, but since I've been searching for some OpenBox screenshots I found out that many people have something like a "sidebar" on their desktops, which is pretty nice to me. If you don't know what I am talking of, please look the screenshot below [1].
I am glad that this community is as dynamical as it is, keep up with the great work!

PS: I refer to the sidebar, which shows information about network and hard drives, but the weather widget is also interesting.

Yeah, the "sidebar" as you put it is conky.
The weather ap and the calendar are both adesklets from the looks of them.
Not sure if the bar at the bottom is an adesklet or not, cuz I don't use them so much.
