OpenBox autostart.sh permissions

eee-control-tray and gvolwheel will only work if run with gksu, how do I make sure they run correctly? I tried adding gksu to each in autostart.sh but that just gave me password prompt for one of them, and the other one didn't start. Both work fine when manually started with gksu.

I'm sure I've missed something very basic here.
