Wrong X resolution

Hello.

Problem: my display settings in X let me have 1024x768 max, when I should be easily able to run 1280x1024.
My card is: VGA compatible controller: Matrox Graphics, Inc. MGA G200e [Pilot] ServerEngines (SEP1) (rev 02)  Terrible, I know.
My Xorg.conf:

HAL can't handle it? Make sure you have the video driver associated to your card.
