Removing message "logout" in bash possible?

When I'm on the console in bash and press Ctrl-D to logout, I always get a message "logout" or with German locales "Abgemeldet" since a while.
Is it possible to disable this message? If yes, how can this message be disabled?
If I get a new login screen, I usually know, that I'm logged out.

*bump*

Isn't there anybody, who knows how to disable this message?

Re: Removing message "logout" in bash possible?

It appears to be a fixed built-in message. Obviously no way to suppress it.
But after all - it does not hurt, does it?

To know or not to know ...
... the questions remain forever.
