[SOLVED] KDE 4.3 - Firefox won't launch

Getting the following error when I try to start firefox after a fresh install of KDE 4.3, after which it doesn't launch: 

Could not find compatible GRE between version 1.9.1.1 and 1.9.1.1.

Not really sure what GRE is or why the system is looking for compatibility when the version is apparently the same.  It is the firefox-branded package that I'm using.  Would that cause this error?

Get the 3.5.2-1 version of firefox-branded and recompile. Or enter on PKGBUILD and change _xulver=1.9.1.1 to _xulver=1.9.1.2 and recompile.
