KDE 4.3 not starting after KDM

hi everybody,

I have a probleme since the KDE 4.3 update;
When I log in into KDM, KDE starts, but just shows me the rectangle without the icons and directly goes back to KDM...
I have tryed to uninstall KDE and reinstalled it, samething, tryed deleting my .kde still the same and doesn't look like I have any errors in my kdm.log...
The weird thing is that under e17, all KDE applications run, except I don't see any icons...
Please help me, if you need anything just ask

You said you deleted .kde, but KDE4's folder is ~/.kde4. Did you remove this one ?

If not, are you sure that you have installed the whole KDE  desktop ?

(with pacman -S kde-meta)

yes, what I wanted to say was that I deleted .kde3 and .kde4
and yes pacman -S kde-meta

oh and yes since the update I get this from pacman:

ldconfig: Fichier /usr/lib/libgnt.so est vide, n'a pas été vérifié.
ldconfig: fichier /usr/lib/libQtWebKit.so.4 est tronqué

ldconfig: Fichier /usr/lib/libpurple.so est vide, n'a pas été vérifié.
ldconfig: Fichier /usr/lib/libpurple.so.0 est vide, n'a pas été vérifié.

est vide, n'a pas été vérifié means: is empty, has not been verified

Looks like a broken filesystem/hard drive.

Looks like a broken filesystem/hard drive.

all hard drive Ok here and the filesystem too
