[Solved] Strange issue with vim (cant paste)

first of all, i know about :set mouse=r and :set mouse=a

I have 2 computers, one is remote per ssh and the other one is my local box. Both run an up2date arch linux.

On my local box i have a slight problem, because shift+insert pastes something different than middle mouse button. But thats probably not vim related at all, still its crap smile

The remote box however is totally screwed. I cant paste at all. Shift+insert pastes the wrong clipboard as on my box, but middle mouse button only pastes "e". No matter what is in my clipboard. In my config i have set mouse=a. When i change this to set mouse=r, it does paste the content of my clipboard, but it pastes it into the command line it looks like this:

i have no clue what to do. The config file is the same on both machines.

Seems to be a ssh issue. Anyway using shift+mouse works

He hoped and prayed that there wasn't an afterlife. Then he realized there was a contradiction involved here and merely hoped that there wasn't an afterlife.
