Quick Access To Power Management
Is there a way that I could either make a shorcut to KDE System Settings > Display > Power Control module or write a script that will set the monitor power off/sleep time to 1 minute? I like to watch stuff on my pc while I fall asleep but once the show ends it brings me back to my bright desktop and wakes me up.

Hmm you should write a script to execute something when your video player is done, you can turn off your monitor with an script or even shut down a pc.

I used the script mentioned in the thread you posted and it works well but I would either have to put a time delay in it or would it be possible to have it detect whether a video is playing or not?
