Hi,
I've been using Arch for more than 8 months and I love it a lot. I've never had any major problem with it, until I performed a system upgrade, where my Amarok stopped playing songs. After googling I realized that I had to install gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg to get everything working.
However, my main problem is with X. For some reason when I'm surfing the web using Shretoko, all of a sudden X crashes and it shows me the GDM login manager. When I login for the second time the problem never happens again. Initially, I thought the problem was with my 64-bit Alpha flash, that's why I installed flashblock but noticed the problem still existed.
Recently, I noticed that whenever I go to the following page, while typing my password X crashes. https://www.baisidirect.com/live/login.jspv
Also, Here is the information about my graphic card:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82G33/G31 Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02)

Thank you very much. My problem seems to be solved. I was able to go to that link and sign in, without X crashing.
I never noticed that my default tty wasn't tty7.

Most people don't.
So have any of the dev's found what needs to be changed somewhere deep in the background of arch to sort this timing issue out?

I have no idea. I'm not a dev.
