Hi,
I followed the beginner's guide and using help from community, I've installed Arch Linux and Xorg. I haven't installed any DE.
I want to add KDEmod from Chakra Project as the DE. So, I added the [kdemod-core] and [kdemod-extragear] to pacman.conf. Arch community repo is also enabled.
Then I gave the following commands:
pacman -Syy
pacman -S kdemod-minimal
However, it is giving lots of unresolved dependencies. How to go about it?

Dude,
"Arch + X" in the post title means Arch with Xorg installed and running.

General advice: post all available details with your original question. If you had provided details of the unresolved dependencies in the first post, you might have an answer by now.

Why the hell did you disable the extra repo?

Please see the answer on the thread you posted at chakra-project with the exact same question... (http://chakra-project.org/bbs/viewtopic.php?id=1305)
As Pierre said, it is due to extra being disabled. That matrix says the KDE desktop from extra should not be installed.

Hey,
I enabled extra repo and now it is downloading the required packages. Will update here if in case I face any other issue.
Thanks for your support and quick replies.
