[solved] Zim and LaTeX aren't working together

Hai,

I've turned on the "EquationEditor", but when I try to insert one equation it gives me an error and it prints in the terminal:

File handle not closed after writing for:
    /tmp/zim-andre-21979-EquationEditor.tex
Generating equation failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device

Of course LaTeX is installed, and all my packages are up to date.

Re: [solved] Zim and LaTeX aren't working together

I have no idea about zim, but please check that latex itself works fine. It might be a problem that has showed up on forums already: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php? … 57#p607557 [recap: run 'latex somefile.tex', if you get 'fatal format error: I'm stymied' then it's the problem described in the link. Fixable by running 'fmtutil --all' as user; or alternatively by deleting the directory ~/.texlive and running 'sudo fmtutil-sys --all'.]
