Hello, 1st post here
While trying to use yaourt or when running audacity I get messages about running out of space. It seems "filesystem" has 45MB free, which is totally imposibble, but it seems to be including mounted volumes in /media . How do I change that, so that /media mounted volumes are not added up to the total used disk space of my linux HDD?
Thanks in advance!
Kostas
[UPDATE] It seems my root partition was much smaller in size than I remembered and it was also packed with cache files from pacman and yaourt. I did "yaourt -Scc" and I saved quite a lot of space.

Welcome to the forum, blackcoatman!
"It seems "filesystem" has 45MB free" <- what's the output of df for that partition in fact ?

Hmm I hope that my first post is also my stupidest one
I'd forgotten that my root partition was only 7GB large and that i'd given most of my 160GB HD to /home
Sorry for taking up space in the forum, lol
(and thanks)

Hello do you use hal?
You got any disk devices connected to your computer?
You have to see what Hal is mounting in oyur fm.
Or if hal is not mouting try to unmout volumes taht are mounted in media.
