Hey all -
I'm new to arch, running a pretty minimal install on an hp mini. I've got Fluxbox working, wireless working, all the other stuff I thought would be hard.
What I *can't* seem to get right is the ssh-add prompt when X starts. I have this in my .xinitrc
eval `/usr/bin/ssh-agent`
SSH_ASKPASS=/usr/lib/openssh/x11-ssh-askpass ssh-add < /dev/null
exec startfluxbox
x11-ssh-askpass loads, prompts as expected, I enter the correct passphrase, and I just get a black screen. Opening a new terminal and switching back to the original, I see that ssh-add ran successfully. There's no indication from there of what went wrong.
(I should note that a wrong passphrase does indeed ask me to try again.)
If I remove ssh-agent and ssh-add stuff, Fluxbox loads fine.
I'm stumped. Any ideas?
Matt
