System stops working from time to time

Hi all. So, the description:

Periodically my arch(x86_32) just freezes and don't give any response. In X's and in console the same. No records in /var/log at all, everything seems to be ok. Tempreture of cpu and others also normal. So, if anyone could tell some suggestions about this, i'll be gratefull.

Configuration
notebook: asus x61sl
kernel: 2.6.31.5-1(stock)
video: ati HD 4570
cpu: Pent. Dual-Core T4200
