Since I updated my system a few days ago, xdm leaves applications running? For example; my Xsetup contains:
#!/bin/sh
## the root window should have this color
xsetroot -solid "#000000" -cursor_name left_ptr
## these are all optional
/etc/X11/xdm/archblack/buttons -geometry +0-0 &
xclock -geometry -0-0 &
xload -update 1 -jumpscroll 1 -nolabel -geometry +0+0 &
All 3 programs used to get killed, but suddenly they appear when XFCE is started?
Does anyone have the same problem; or am I doing something wrong? This has worked for years...

Okay, I found out what the problem was; in /var/log/xdm I found the following line:
/etc/X11/xdm/archblack/Xstartup: line 4: xwininfo: command not found
So installing the package that contains xwininfo fixed it. This problem was caused by my xdm theme
