hi i just installed lxde and i don't have a trash can on the desktop or when i open pcman(does lxde even send files to a trash can?). i also would like to add a nicer gtk theme to it(maybe something like xfce4's theme). how do i change and add new themes for my new lxde installation?

LXDE doesn't have a trash can, files are immediately deleted.
To change theme and icons, install lxappearance.

hi thank you for the quick reply. i have lxappearance installed, however i would like to add a new theme to it. my question is: how do i add new themes to lxappearance and where would i go about looking for them?

i found the answers myself after a little googling.
to those who want to know how i did it you need to extract the themes which can be found in a number of places on the internet(i found them here: http://art.gnome.org/themes/gtk2). one you extract the themes you can either put them in $HOME/.themes/ directory (for current user) OR in /usr/share/themes/ directory (for all users). appearance then will find the themes and you can use them.
