error connecting to ConsoleKit

Hi,
i checked out my var/log files for errors, because i belog to the guys who fight against nvidia driver (because of random freezes) sad

In var/log/everything.log i found following error, logged during boot:

Apr 24 09:41:12 myhost ck-launch-session: error connecting to ConsoleKit

I have consolekit-0.4.1-2 installed. It seems not directly to affect system. Can i ignore this error?

Do i need

a framework for defining and tracking users, login sessions, and seats.

Greetings,

Vinschni

Re: error connecting to ConsoleKit

Got the same error, and while using empathy system freezes and goes to black screen, Can't say if it is connected somehow to consolekit, But logs do say "error connecting to Consolekit" too.
Anybody feedback please on consolekit error connection.

Re: error connecting to ConsoleKit

I was getting this ConsoleKit error and unable to use automounting (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xi … ConsoleKit). Solved by adding dbus daemon to /etc/rc.conf - seems like ck-launch-session needs a running system dbus.
