[solved]Granting non root user permission for pppoe-start

Hi,
I want to grant a non root user permission to pppoe-start and pppoe-stop. Should i add a new group with my non root users and change the group of pppoe commands or is there any other way?I read in man pppoe.conf that i can set nonroot=OK to do the same but i could not find rp-pppoe-gui package to continue.

Have a look at sudo.

You can allow a user or some group of users (say, niceusers) to run some commands that previously required root - use visudo, as hokasch suggested.
