Arch package repository

Hello, I use arch on a laptop and am constantly in need of packages when I am in a location with no internet access.

Is there a way I can mirror the core branch onto an external HD and take it with me in case I need to pacman something?

I understand I can add the mirror into pacman.conf file, I just need to know how to get the package repository into a folder on my external.

Thanks!

Re: Arch package repository

IIRC you can rsync a mirror.

mirroring core won't be of much use though, as chances are you have it installed completely anyway.
