[SOLVED] SLiM + xinit = trouble.

I installed a new system with SLiM. It seems that xinit was never created. So when SLiM boots it doesn't boot into openbox. If I try to start a console with SLiM it boots into xterm but fails by not drawing a window so theres no console.

How can I get a console?

Thanks.

Ctrl-Alt-F3 (or any F key 1-6) gives a tty
