Re: Sup Email

I installed Xapian Full (it conflicts with xapian bindings so xapian bindings was removed).

And now i have a new error:
/usr/lib/ruby/1.9.1/rubygems.rb:762:in `report_activate_error': Could not find RubyGem ncurses (>= 0) (Gem::LoadError)
    from /usr/lib/ruby/1.9.1/rubygems.rb:219:in `activate'
    from /usr/lib/ruby/1.9.1/rubygems.rb:254:in `block in activate'
    from /usr/lib/ruby/1.9.1/rubygems.rb:253:in `each'
    from /usr/lib/ruby/1.9.1/rubygems.rb:253:in `activate'
    from /usr/lib/ruby/1.9.1/rubygems.rb:1065:in `gem'

I then instaled ruby-ncurses, but i still have the same error.

Looking in what i have installed:

extra/ruby 1.9.2_p0-3 [installed]
aur/ruby-fastthread 1.0.7-1 [installed] (23)
aur/ruby-gettext 2.1.0-2 [installed] (51)
aur/ruby-highline 1.6.1-2 [installed] (31)
aur/ruby-hoe 2.6.1-1 [installed] (39)
aur/ruby-locale 2.0.5-2 [installed] (16)
aur/ruby-lockfile 1.4.3-2 [installed] (22)
aur/ruby-mime-types 1.16-1 [installed] (25)
aur/ruby-ncurses 1.2.4-1 [installed] (19)
aur/ruby-ncursesw 1.2.4.1-2 [installed] (20)
aur/ruby-net-ssh 2.0.23-1 [installed] (29)
aur/ruby-rmail 1.0.0-2 [installed] (23)
aur/ruby-rubyforge 2.0.4-1 [installed] (42)
aur/ruby-trollop 1.16.2-2 [installed] (25)
aur/ruby-xapian-full 1.1.3.4-3 [installed] (1)

It seems i have 2 ncurses for ruby now. Then i try to uninstall ruby-ncursesw, but i get an error
that Sup needs it.

What now?

Re: Sup Email

The AUR deps are a little off since the last update I think.

It now seems to rely on the gems xapian-full and ncurses (instead of ncursesw)... and at least for me and a few people on the comments on the AUR package the ncurses gem doesn't seem to work properly on 1.9.2.

As a small note there is a discussion thread about it on the Sup mailinglist:

I haven't lost my mind; I have a tape back-up somewhere.
