Installing a Boot Splash

I'm trying to get a boot splash screen for my arch install by following this: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bootsplash
It says I need the appropriate patch for my kernel, so running uname -r I get 2.6.35-ARCH and I only see a 2.6.35.4 on this site: http://www.kernel.org/. Is that the one I need?

So that's the kernel you're running.
The patches are here: ftp://ftp.bootsplash.org/pub/bootsplash/kernel/
I've never used it, I don't know if it works, but I think you should pick the newest patch there is - unfortunately, the newest is for kernel 2.6.21 - a reeeealy old kernel by Arch standards.
Try and see if it works. If you can't get it to work, maybe you can have a look at http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Splashy http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fbsplash or similar apps.
