window refresh on gnome

Hi all,
I have a trouble about window refresh...for example: in firefox if I change tab, page dont' refresh and I keep seeing the old page...Only when i scroll mouse page change...

This problem happen in all part of system: terminal, nautilus, firefox...etc etc

My hardware settings are:
Nvidia 8400GS with driver 256.53 take on repo...

And you are probably using compiz.
Start fusion icon. Be sure to disable "indirect rendering" and enable "loose bindings" in compiz option by clicking the right button over fusion-icon, than open CCSM and go all the way to "Workarounds" and select the last two options ("Fix screen updates..." "Force sync...").

Anyway, it has been posted a lot of times before.
