CD/DVD Automount

Hello guys!

Im having trouble automounting CDs and DVDs . I am able to automount my external HDD but not with my CD/DVD drive.

I tried uncomment the lines in fstab but that didnt work.

any ideas?

edit: im using openbox and thunar. and the CD im trying to mount is an audio CD.

Wait a minute... is that even possible? Are you having problems getting all CDs and DVDs to automount, like the thread title says, or just audio CDs?

you were right. i tried an ubuntu cd. works prefectly. So what do i have to do to play my Audio Cds?

An AudioCD doesn't have a filesystem, so you can't mount it. Just let the app you use to rip it / listen to it handle the whole thing.

Ah ok i see. buut im using MOC. and i find nothing in /media/dvd or /media/cd
