Hi!
I want to install Arch on my computer, where I have Windows and Ubuntu already installed.
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use%
/dev/sda6 13G 6,1G 6,3G 50% /
/dev/sda7 26G 7,9G 17G 33% /home
/dev/sda5 153G 100G 54G 66% /media/Data
/dev/sda2 41G 26G 16G 63% /media/Windows
/dev/sda1 100M 25M 76M 25% /media/System Reserved
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 * 1 13 102400 7 HPFS/NTFS
/dev/sda2 13 5257 42119680 7 HPFS/NTFS
/dev/sda3 5257 30402 201973611+ f W95 Ext'd (LBA)
/dev/sda5 5257 25176 159995146+ 7 HPFS/NTFS
/dev/sda6 25176 26896 13814784 83 Linux
/dev/sda7 26896 30256 26991616 83 Linux
/dev/sda8 30256 30402 1169408 82 Linux swap / Solaris
Ubuntu is on /dev/sda6, and Ubuntu /home is on /dev/sda7.
So I was hoping to resize /dev/sda5 (Data) partition, and install Arch on it.
My questions are:
Can I have more than 4 logical partitions in extended partition?
Will Arch recognize the other two operating systems?

Will Arch recognize the other two operating systems?
I don't think that it is Arch that is recognizing the other operating systems, it is grub, the bootloader. I think you might have to edit the grub configuration file to boot to the other OS's.
I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

Or, if you decide to use Ubuntu's grub2, you just have to run update-grub from Ubuntu and an entry for Arch will be added to the grub menu the next time you reboot.

You have to configure Arch's Grub so it can boot Ubuntu/Windows Similier to what you had to do with Ubuntu to get Windows in grubmenu

Well I ment Arch´s Grub..
I found several people on the internet which have had some problems with Windows and Arch dualboot, so I just wanted to check.

I didn´t have to configure anything in Ubuntu. Everything went well, in 9.10, 10.04 and 10.10.

I said mobile broadband internet via USB, not wireless or ADSL or anything else. I have read that already.
