I'm having trouble installing sound on the new install.

[krazybastid@localhost ~]$ ls -l /sys/module/snd/holders

and... I went to type in the modprobe.conf

/etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf

options snd_hda_intel index=0

I'm stuck I don't know what to do and I can't get sound to work I also did.. in ~/.asoundrc

defaults.ctl.card 0
defaults.pcm.card 0
defaults.pcm.device 0

Can somebody help?

It's ok I figured it out by typing alsaconf and it magically started working.
