Do you want to know why the program continued to work even without being on the harddrive anymore? Well, that works pretty well in Linux, because the program is already in the RAM and no disc access is needed anymore.

sure, but itself relies on a couple of other little programs which i trust so are they too loaded in ram . i guess i find it counterintuitive to not see it unloaded /killed/ whatever as was I used on win32
