Which network manager to choose [solved]

I recently got an EEE 1005PX. I'm now into my third arch installation with it. I'm reading this:

I'm at a loss which option to pick. I've used netcfg, but rfkill messed with everything and I'd like to avoid it if at all possible. Which would be the least hassle?

Wicd. It is much less invasive than network-manager but very easy to use.

I would have to agree with wicd. I've never had any problem using it and with all the others I've had nothing but problems. Most of the time easy fixed but with wicd I don't think you could go wrong.

Network manager - especially if you use VPN, but generally I find it very stable, easy to configure and very unobtrusive.

Is the problem with Netcfg possibly bug related, and if so did you create a bug report? If not, how about trying to figure out the issue? To be honest, I have had issues with both Wicd and NM, with Netcfg being a viable alternative.

So there's no general consensus? I guess I'll just check if there's any way to avoid installing rfkill for netcfg and use that then.

I would go to wicd as well. I never had problems at all and is very simple to configure.
