Screen Magnification Help

My grandma recently executed a image file that installed some malware in Windows XP. I want her to use Linux but she needs to have "MAGic" a screen magnifier. I have tried it in wine but that didn't work.  Does anyone know of any screen magnification programs that support full screen and follow the mouse?

Re: Screen Magnification Help

Compiz has a magnifier built in by default, though I cannot be sure it is the type of magnifier you want. So, you could try running compiz as a standalone window manager, or with a DE like GNOME, or Xfce.

Re: Screen Magnification Help

From what I've heard on the Ubuntu forums is that Compiz's magnifier doesn't allow input while it's running. hmm

Re: Screen Magnification Help

What about Orca? It is the default magnifier for GNOME.
