half life 2 is upside down on a radeon HD 4650

well when i play half life 2 everything but text is upside down and cant seem to figure out why.ive googled the problem but i guess noone else has this problem.my gpu is an ati radeon HD 4650 and to say the least it sucks.if i had to guess i'd say its my gpu as i didnt have any problems with my old nvidia gpu.the other wierd thing is in team fortress 2 besides being super laggy when ive set launch options configured the registry and modified catalyst is when i die and it goes to the kill picture the picture is flipped upside down but the text stays normal.

Try to play with the quality settings in amdcccle. I think when you disable AA AAF etc. then it works.

Also try regedit and go to (and crete if not there) [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Direct3D]. Then create a new key "OffscreenRenderingMode"="fbo". Or "backbuffer" instead of fbo. I don't remember.

It's probably a bug in catalyst because as you said with nvidia it works.

I don't know much about internals of fglrx but I think their dri implementation is broken. Maybe it's just too old.
